Patient Resources

Many patients travel to NYC to have surgery with Dr. Pfeifer. Others prefer to have surgery in our Quogue operating room. In some cases, patients have a Skye consultation with Dr. Pfeifer prior to their arrival. This is easily arranged.

Accommodations

There are many NYC and Hamptons hotels which are fabulous.

These are a few we recommend in Manhattan, but you may already have a favorite.

Hotels

The Affinia is a boutique hotel located in a posh residential neighborhood on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. It is near both our office and Dr. Pfeifer’s Park Avenue surgical suite. It has a small, private lobby that makes it perfect for patients who need discrete entry and exit from the hotel. All of the room types are luxurious with full kitchens. Fresh Direct can deliver groceries as needed. The hotel is convenient to local attractions such as Bloomingdale’s and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

She then pursued advanced fellowship training in cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery. Dr. Pfeifer has authored book chapters and articles published in peer-reviewed medical journals. She is a firm believer in education as well as practicing state of the art plastic surgery and treatments. To maintain her cutting edge, she participates in well over 10 educational symposia each year.

Private Duty Nurses

Patients who are visiting from out of town or who simply prefer to stay in a hotel after surgery, for example if you have young children at home and they may not understand why you need to rest, may want to engage one of our wonderful private duty nurses. Your nurse can pick you up after surgery or meet you at your home or hotel. The nurses work in 8 hour shifts. You can easily add additional nursing shifts if you decide you need someone for longer than you originally thought. These nurses have taken care of thousands of cosmetic surgery patients and know how to keep you comfortable and safe. Patients who have had private duty nursing are simply ecstatic with the care they received. “Absolutely worth every penny!”
