This 47 year old woman, who works in international banking, had a breast reduction with an anchor pattern incision as a teenager. Her breasts had gotten even smaller over time and she did not like the shape. She requested a natural shape that was in proportion to her frame. After augmentation, patients who have had a reduction are more likely to have stretch of the breast skin from the weight of the implant. So for these patients I recommend textured implants as texture may help prevent sagging of the breast over time. We chose Sientra shaped implants in a subfascial pocket. She has a natural result and feels comfortable at business meetings. This wonderful patient understands the importance of wearing a properly fitted bra. Notice how her bra sits flush against the middle of her chest, one of the signs of a properly fitted bra. The photos are taken at 6 months post-operatively.
All photos are of actual patients and are shown with permission.
